Dr. Kubitz was raised in Southern California and received his bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton. He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Western University Health Sciences. Following this, he completed his internship in Phoenix through Midwestern University. He and his wife, Jennifer, then relocated to Rochester, Minnesota, where he completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Kubitz has received extensive training in the evaluation and management of painful spine and musculoskeletal disorders. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and provides both medical and interventional pain management to his patients, as well as performs electrodiagnostic studies to aid in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve disorders, such as radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kubitz participates in the Scottsdale Healthcare Speakers’ Bureau, where he speaks to community members, providing education about various pain conditions. He also provides educational lectures to health care providers, both in and outside of Arizona, pertaining to topics involving pain management. Additionally, he has been an active participant on the executive board for the Arizona Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for over three years.
Dr. Kubitz has two sons who keep him busy when he is home. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and getting in a round of golf or two when possible.
